[ I almost called him Lester. I'm going to screw that up eventually. I wonder if they do. ]

Would you be up for being one of my coma check in buddies?

Lester is going to be the first line of defense since we work together but I wanted to have more than one, considering how much happens around here.

[Surprised that he's warranted the trust for the request, but perfectly happy to!]

I know there wasn't anything I could do about it but it still doesn't feel great.

Believe me, I know the feeling. Especially with Collins. I'll admit it took multiple people to talk me around to letting other wardens deal with him instead, when I already knew he was obsessed with me.

I read about that in his ledger, but he didn't mention it to me. You saw my message from the other day, right?

[ About the change to his limits. ]

My apologies, I must have missed it. The flood was rather, er- attention-consuming. B-but I do appreciate knowing it. Only time will tell if he makes good on it, I suppose, but he's rather distracted by John all the same.

John?

I didn't see anything in the ledger about him and John. Do you know what's up with that?

[ Before he can answer- ]

I'm sorry he's fixated on your partner. That can be worse sometimes.

Unfortunately I didn't think to check before my demotion. But John keeps trying to engage with him, er- connect on an intellectual level, if not an emotional one. I've advised him against it, especially since Collins has been nothing but abusive in return- he broke John's mask, once, he forced himself on John after he got a body, I just- I-I don't understand what his obsession is, and it's done nothing but make John miserable.

[ John feels responsible for Collins. That's why he looked after him while I was down. ]

Is there a reason he feels responsible for him? He talked about him like- like he didn't want to leave him in just anyone's hands when he passed him back to me.

On a breach, he and Collins' other selves were in a relationship, of... some description, I was never clear on that part. As near as I can tell, that was the starting point.

Ah, well... that makes sense.

[ How else would a serial killer handle something like that? Saga is well aware of how serial killers handle obsession. ]

And he's- he's all right? He's handling it okay?
